Chapter Fifty-Seven → Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, it can stay this simple

Brush, brush, brush, must look all sparkly clean for her first day of school.

Her bike is nearly as colorful as she is.

Woah! This is school!? Weird. Look at all the drab badly dressed people, do none of them have lights on when they got dressed that morning? Although really, Liberty's one to talk, little miss dots and stripes.

While his eldest dealt with the trials and tribulations of her first day of school, Tommy decided to take Riker to the park. Sure it was five feet away from the front of their house, but the toddler still enjoyed the walk.

He enjoyed the pirate ship less, dude, he so wanted a pony!

Yeah, enough of this crap.

Tommy decided to busk a little, which prompted the tot to take off.

Yep, don't mind him, he's got shit to do.

"Man, that's horrible parenting."

"Says the man in flippers and a scarf."

"Oh! So rude!"

Ah, success! Still not a pony, but a car will do for now.

Meanwhile, Tyrone was doing some grunt work for his boss. They really wanted a local celeb to take a bit part in their new film, it was his job to convince her. "Seriously, it would really help my career." Tyrone said to the girl. "Uh, you might wanna get your roots done first though."

(Note to Lacey, yes, that is a grown Tessa running around my town, she happens to be a dyke, again)

Back home, Liberty was lamenting her first ever homework assignment. "Homework sucks harry toes!"

After a little while of hearing the child shout from where Tommy was in the bathroom, he cut his shower short and headed out to help her. "I know homework isn't fun honey, but you have to do it."

"I don't see why, i won't ever use algebra in my life!"

"Sure you will."

"Oh yeah? When has that ever come in handy to you or daddy?" Liberty asked, pointing to a rather convoluted looking math problem that insisted she show 'all her work'.

"Um... go play."

She totally knew how to work her parents.

Uh oh, who let Tyrone cook?

The next morning dawned bright and early, with Liberty imagining that she was already adult enough to drive/ If she takes corners like that, she will be forced to stick to a bike for her entire life.

Her joy ride was quickly interrupted by cake, she liked cake! Oh and it was Riker's birthday too, but more importantly, cake!

Woah, who did that to my hair?

When you have a fabulously gay father, room redecoration can happen quickly and without notice.

Later that evening, the French-Harkness girls came over for a play date, the youngest of the siblings always looked so sad. "You have pointy ears."

"Yep." Liberty nodded.

"Are you elvish?"

"Elvis? No, but i can sing Hound dog!"

"No, elvish, ish."

"Oh.... nah." Liberty shook her head.

"Oh." She confused Liberty, why did she look so sad all the time?

Meanwhile, upstairs, Riker was dealing with his own 'visitor'. "This is my house so you have to do what i say."

"No i don't." Said Puzzle.

"Yes you do."

"You're being a jerk."

"Big words coming from a Teletubby from hell."

"I'm not a Teletubby!"

"Oh yeah, prove it!"

As it turned out, he could prove it, but Riker would have to do a little snooping in his grandmother's old cellar, the one place his parents told him and his sister to never go.

So, the next morning, under the guise of playing....

While everyone was otherwise busy, Riker took off to the cellar and stole the bottle that Puzzle said they needed.

Hiding in the downstairs bathroom, he gave the living doll the potion and watched with fascination as the magic overtook the creature and left behind -

"Well damn."

"You owe me an apology." Puzzle said, looking at Riker.

"An apology? Have you any idea how we're suppose to explain to my parents how one of us entered the bathroom and two of us leave it?"

"....Oh."

Chapter Notes:

Not the hugest update, but not bad. I love that i consider 30 pictures 'short', although i've posted shorter, way shorter. I'm just currently trying to catch up to where i am in my game, which is pretty far from this, cause currently all the kids are teens in game lol. Anyone who reads the forms knows how much issue i've been having since i patched, it totally borked the game for the most part but as long as i don't place any Town Life lots and don't send anyone traveling, i can work around the other issues. For a while there i thought Liberty was glitched and i was already working out ways i could get rid of her if i had too, but it turned out some hair i had on her was the problem. At least i'm lead to assume so, because she no longer wears said hair and the issues with her have stopped. Which is too bad, because i got it off MTS, it's part of a featured item even, hmm, whatever. I also removed a bunch of stuff i got from a German sims mag, it all worked fine but they were taking up a huge amount of space so it had to go. Plus, the premades were ugly as sin, worse than EA pudding. Riker's childhood trait is Unlucky and Puzzle's traits are Party Animal, Bookworm & Heavy Sleeper.

Also, don't ya hate it when you say something with such certainty and then have to take it back? Yep, me too, yet it's what i'm about to do lol. My last post i was talking about how Liberty was going to be straight, well, she had other plans for me. Not only did she get the wish to kiss like four different girls her first day as a teen, when i was looking through the kids for a future husband for her, i ended up finding Loretta Wan -
Look at her! How could i say no? She's stunning and only got better once she aged up, plus, she has the hidden Asian trait, which i was hoping to get into the family, but with traveling borked now, i was resigned to not having that happen. And, oh the drama, the drama of Liberty falling for a vampire after everything that happened in Tommy's life with his mother, it was too good to turn down. Yep, so Liberty, not so straight, oh well.

  1. Haha. "The best laid plans..." Funny when Sims really do seem to have a mind of their own.

Great update - I loved the park scene with Riker running off to find a pony.

    And another good looking IF!

  2. I know right, you make the plans, have it all laid out and the Sims like, nope, i wanna do this! Lol, i like it, gives them character.

Riker's obsession with getting a pony doesn't end, it's mostly because he only seems to play with the horse riding toy in the backyard and nothing else, it's cute.

And yep, so far i've been impressed with the looks that the human IFs have, i've yet to get an ugly one.

  3. Oh don't jinx it! I'm hoping to turn my latest IF real sometime today! Just watch me get the only ugly one...

But no in all honesty, Puzzle's a cutie. And so are all the others. How do you have such luck with your sims? They're all gorgeous!

Loretta's beautiful. Am I the only hoping the babies get her blue skin and Liberty's hair? Please?

  4. Oh! Sorry, i take it all back! No jinxing *waves hands all insane like* Better? Lol.

They're cute now, but Riker isn't all the cute as a teenager. He's got Tyrone's features, which are so obviously African American yet has the green skin and the blonde hair. It's like his body didn't know enough to be a black man lol, makes him look odd.

And if their babies get the blue hair and blue skin i will so call them Smurfs, don't front, you know you will too :P
