Chapter Eleven → Like a shotgun needs an outcome, I'm your prostitute, you gon' get some

!Warning! This generation features a 'professional girl', also known as a hooker or prostitute. The character will be featured heavily in the coming chapters, if this offends you, i suggest you skip this generation. While fifty percent of prostitution is done safely and in clean and safe bordellos, the other fifty percent is not. I have personal knowledge of how wrong and dangerous the world of prostitution can be and have seen it with my own eyes, so be warned that this generation will be featuring the 'bad' side of the profession. Again, if this offends you, i suggest you skip this generation. You have been warned.

The following week brought with it Zane's graduation, the man drove them all to city hall for the ceremony. Kinsley and Cherie were less than impressed about having to sit in the backseat, Zane was less than impressed with what his cap was doing to his hair and Suzanna, well, she was just being a sullen teenager.

They were the first to arrive, it was obvious that Suzanna's mood got no better as the morning progressed.

Although Zane's did, he was never so happy to be free of something in all his life. Even getting rid of Fluffs pale in comparison to the knowledge that he would never have to set foot in a high school again. Well, at least not as a student.

He commemorated the occasion by getting a tattoo, ignoring when the artist snickered at his swim suit. He looked damn good and knew it, 70's waves were a wonderful choice for a swim suit pattern, just ask anybody.

Suzanna's foul mood didn't last long, once she got home she invited her boyfriend over. They two did typical teenage stuff, talked, played video games, hopscotch just for the hell of it.

Seesawing.

Star gazing.

Shagging in the tree house.... okay, so they were odd teens, but they enjoyed themselves none the less.

Kinsley and Zane were happily oblivious about it all, not noticing the odd smile on Suzanna's face as they played video games. "So, i was thinking..." Zane started.

"Never a good thing." Kinsley teased.

"Thanks." He deadpanned, sounding just like her. "I think i wanna fix up the place a bit."

"How so?"

"Oh replace the dishwasher for one that doesn't flood the kitchen ever time we run in, maybe move the laundry stuff into the basement...."

"We don't have a basement Zane." Kinsley said, pausing to look at her son.

"Yeah, about that...."

"Zane, we can't afford this!" Kinsley said as she walked down into the newly renovated basement a month later, bumping into Suzanna who was staring in awe at the new stuff.

"Mom, let me worry about it, okay." Zane said as he tossed some of this laundry into the washer that was now next to a brand new dryer. "All my life i've watched you guys save and go without for us, i'm working now, making nice money, let me take care of some stuff." He said, Kinsley just giving him a small smile.

"You're too much like your mother, you know that." She said, meaning Cherie.

"You say that like it's a bad thing." The man chuckled.

Zane also had moved into his older sister's old room, deciding since he was staying on board to take care of his aging mothers should they need it, that he wasn't going to stay in the room he picked the wallpaper out for when he was six.

Between the big month long renovations, Suzanna's increasing teen rebelling and his mother's slowing down some, Zane was wound pretty tight. So one Friday night he headed out to Haven, it was a little dive on the bluffs. Sure, it had a bit of a reputation of licentious type things happening there, but he had never been and well, it peeked his interest. When he arrived, he found it full of all sorts of people and quite a few scantly clad dressed girls. One of them caught his attention though, it couldn't be, could it? "Joanna?" He asked, tapping the woman on the shoulder, the brunette turning around only to be surprised to see Zane standing there.

"Zane!? What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Me, what are you doing here? I thought you left town, months ago, right before graduation."

"Yeah." She tsked, giving her head a little shake. "Things with the fam broke down and i booked it back her as soon as i could." She said with a smile, nodding to a table for them to sit.

"What happened to your eye?" Zane asked as they sat.

"Oh this?" The girl motioned to the large still slightly new looking scar over her left eye. "Cut myself shaving." She joked, making it obvious she didn't wanna talk about it. "So, do you come here often?" She asked curiously.

"Nah, first time here actually, called me curious, i wanted to see what all the whispers were about."

"Ha!" Joanna gave a short curt laugh. "Whispers ain't nothing, this place is okay. Hell, i should know, i spend most of my time here."

"You work here?"

"Sorta." She said with a shrug.

"Sorta?"

"Yeah, sorta, what's it to you?" She asked.

"Nothing, just wondering is all. Where ya staying?"

"Man, you've been living with a cop for too long." She said to him.

"Sorry." Zane said with a little shrug.

"It's all right i guess, i'm actually staying here."

"At the bar?"

"Yeah, place is nice, ya know, whatever." She gave a little shrug.

"You know, i've got a sofa you could crash on if you want, hell, even have an extra room if you want." Zane offered.

"I'm good, no worries."

The next day Haven was dead, the place had no one there. "Not a one yet huh Jarrod?" Joanna said as she sat at the bar, talking to the bartender/pimp that ran Haven.

"Place is drier than the Queen's knickers." He said.

"Nice visual." Joanna quipped.

"Got something for me, do ya?" He asked rather randomly, looking at the brunette expectantly.

"Oh right, here." She said as she handed over half of what she made the night before, she always hated working for pimps, giving them a cut when they didn't do any of the work.

"Only fifty bucks? You only made a bill last night? That's bullshit woman, hand the rest over."

"I swear Jarrod, this place is the dumps, no one comes here with the fucking cops on our asses.

"Well, fifty ain't enough for me." He said, giving her a leer, the girl just gave a sigh and got up.

She really hated pimps.

Later that week, Zane was surprised to see Joanna sitting at the dinning room table, being given a meal by his mother. "Thanks Mrs. T." She said with a smile at her friends mother.

"Joanna, what are you doing here?"

"Eating." She said like it was the most obvious thing, which really, it was.

"No, i mean..."

"I know what you meant." She chuckled, smiling up at him from her seat. "I got to thinking, if your offer is still up for grabs, i'd love to take it up."

"What offer?" Kinsley asked.

"I offered Joe my old room until she got back onto her feet." Zane said.

"Of course it's still open, silly girl, don't even ask. Our home is your home." The elder woman said with a smile, which in turn made Joanna smile.

"Thanks Mrs. T."

Chapter Notes:

Yeah, i admit, i made Joanna in CAS, but only because there was literally NO ONE single in the fricking town! Story progression is taking over like all blahhhh! I'm not sure i like it very much, i'm use to having more control over things. Also, just a bit about Joanna, her traits are, Natural Cook, Flirty, Great Kisser, Commitment Issues and Party Animal. She's been added to the household because she needs to be his girlfriend, which gave them a bit of a boost money wise, makes me feel like, eek, i'm cheating. But i swear i'm not lol, just there's going to be two 'add to households' in this generation, which is why they were suddenly able to put a basement in. But i figured since i basically blew all of Joe's cash on the basement it's okay lol, plus it fulfilled the Expansionist requirement, not like that's the only expansion that will happen on the house, i'm going to attempt to expand the top floor some more, make the 'kids' rooms bigger than the shoe boxes they currently are.

Oh! And i've been having some issues with the 'register as Woohooer' option on the phone for Joanna, as it, it's not showing up. This isn't the first time i've had it not show up, i had a previous character that i attempted to register and it didn't show up but it showed up for her elder mother, which, ick *shudder*. I dunno what's wrong with it, why it's so tetchy. So i installed a different prostitution mod and i'm using that one, so Joe's currently 'unemployed' even though she's very obviously not. She spends 11am to 3am at Haven, bed hopping. Btw, i made the little hooker haven that she works in, hence the name 'Haven' lol.
