Chapter Fifty-Four → Now I'm stuck in the moment and my heart is open, tell me that you feel the same

That afternoon, the twins enjoyed leftover food that their mother had made. It felt like they were eating for the first time, the flavors were stronger, lasted longer, it was an amazing change. But at the same time, a depressing change since Audra wasn't there to enjoy the teens new lives with them. "I'm going into medical school after graduation." Trista informed Tommy. "I got my acceptance letter yesterday."

"Mom would be proud." Tommy smiled at his sister, although it held a hint of sadness to it.

"Come on you two!" Tyrone could be heard shouting from upstairs. "Don't make me dress you two bitches myself, cause i will!"

"Is he really making us go to freaking prom?" Trista almost whined.

"Yep." Tommy said, giving his sister a sympathetic look. It was difficult for her to deal with the idea of romance now, after everything that happened to Audra. After all, she was dating a vampire, a vampire who enjoyed everything about being one. It had been over a week since she's spoken to Laquita, refusing to take the girl's phone calls or answer the door. Tommy knew it had to have been difficult to not have that extra support, sure, she had him and Tyrone, but the support of a lover during hard times sometimes makes all the difference in the world. "Come on, it'll be fun, Tyrone's gonna dress you."

"I'm not a Barbie."

"We know, i think i'd remember a line or bitchy green skinned Barbies being pumped out." Tommy teased, Trista just sticking her tongue out at him.

As Tommy said he would, Tyrone did in fact dress Trista to the nines, the girl looking stunning this time around opposed to the raver she looked like at her Junior Prom. She ended up winning prom queen, but was sure it was only because everyone felt sorry for her. Tryone won prom king, but declared himself a queen as well.

When the returned home that night they were met by Laquita on the front porch, the boys quickly excusing themselves. "Laquita?" Trista said, taking in the girl's new look, shocked. "What did you do?"

"I tried to call you." She said with a shrug, her skin tone a rosy shade of pink, her eyes a deep hazel. She wasn't glowing, she wasn't cold, she looked like a completely normal looking teenaged girl.

"Do you have any idea what you've lost?" Trista asked, Laquita had loved being a vampire, everything about it was a rush to the daredevil child.

"Do you have any idea what i've gained?" She asked Trista, her face open and honest.

It was love, a love that transcended any rush or high, and Laquita wasn't about to let it go.

The next day was the four teen's birthdays, since neither Trista or Tommy wanted a party, Tyrone and Laquita didn't push it. "It's Saturday, we Graduate on Monday, why the fuck are we doing homework?" Tommy asked, scratching his head. "Fuck this, i'll be back."

Without another word, Tommy took off, heading into town, stopping at the Nectary and then the bakery to pick up some cakes. They might be having a party, but damned if they weren't going to have cake, sweet sugary cake to drowned their sorrows in.

When Tommy got home, he found the girls playing video games.

Tyrone was upstairs, practicing his Oscar speech.

While they did that, Tommy set up the sidebar with cake and nectar before calling everyone over.

The girl's went first.

Trista turned out to be an Audra clone.

Up next at the cake was Laquita.

Who turned out being pretty snazzy, even if she did say so herself.

Tommy was up next, who thought that everyone was making too much of a fuss out of his birthday.

Especially Laquita, she might have gotten into the nectar too early.

Tommy could sense the Princess Bride jokes already, as you wish Tommy, as you wish.

Lastly it was Tyrone's turn, about damn time.

He dares you to question his favorite color of pink, go ahead, he whoop your ass.

By the time the cakes had been eaten and the nectar drank, it was extremely late and the girls headed up to bed, leaving Tommy and Tyrone alone for a moment. "I never did thank you for everything you did." Tommy said as he reached out and touched his cheek with an air of intimacy that they had yet to actually share.

"You don't have too." Tyrone assured.

"I do." Tommy said before he pulled the other man against him.

"Well, if you insist, i have a few ideas." Tyrone smirked.

"So do i...." Tommy said as he pulled out of the embrace.

"Marry me?"

Little did the men know, that upstairs, a similar scene was taking place.

A very similar scene.

The women moved out together the next morning, taking with them a large chunk of the family fortune, leaving the two men alone in the large house. "I think we should do some renovations." Tyrone said over breakfast.

"What kind." Tommy asked.

"The kind that changes the way the house looks."

"Yes, i gathered as much smart ass. I meant more along the lines of why?"

"Well, look at it this way, this house has been in your family for how long?" Tyrone asked.

"Umm, my great grandparents moved in here with my grandparents when they first got married." Tommy said.

"And the last time the place had a new coat of paint?"

"Ummm...."

"My point exactly." Tyrone said with a nod, like that was the end of the conversation.

Tyrone proved later on, just how useless he was with electronics.

Luckily Tommy was out in the garden, and missed his soon to be husbands near death experience.

That evening at dinner, Tyrone brought up another subject that was at the forefront of his mind. "So, what'da you think of babies?"

It might have been a bit too soon for that question.

Chapter Notes:

So generation Five has officially started, i've decided the boys will adopt one child and have one biological child. So just a forewarning, there will be some M-Preg, but it won't be a huge part of the story. As anyone who has followed my blog from the start knows, i don't treat same sex pregnancies any different than normal ones. So whether it's because the story takes place generations in the future or it's all from government LSD's in the well water, it's up to you, but it's normal in the the world of my sims.
Also keep an eye out on my blog today, because i will be posting some sims from my legacy for upload for those who wants any of them.

Age up blooper pic!!
Apparently aging up without pants on runs in the family.
