Chapter Twenty-Two → The reason i love you is you, being you, just you

"Ah! My corneas!" Blinding himself didn't seem to help Michael with the fact that prom was coming up and he didn't have a date, which was fare, considering he went to school in his swim suit a lot and slept with a pair of radiation goggles on his head. Okay, so he wore the goggles everywhere, but ya never knew when they'd come in useful. I could always go with Peanut, he thought to himself. She was kinda weird, like him and she already understood him, meh, why not, it's not like it would be a big deal.

Okay, so maybe it would be a big deal.

"Peanut and Michael sitting in a tree! K.I.S.S.I.N.G! First comes love! Then comes marriage! Then comes Michael with a baby carriage!"

"I'm gonna turn your brain into a science experiment!!"

"MOM!"

Both Tamara and Michael were quickly distracted by birthday cake since it was Cora's birthday, Zane had something planned for them as a family, but refused to say was it was until after cake.

As it turned out, the surprise was a trip of Egypt, he had to go for work so decided to take the entire family.

Sure, there were poisonous snakes.

And they had to sleep in tents (arg, evil +400 ruined my shot)

But for the short time they were there, they enjoyed it.

Too soon they were home, not that that any of them were ready for that. But there was school to attend.

And driving lessons to be taught. "Did you really need to paint your grandmother's squad card to look like bricks?"

"It's safer this way."

"How so?"

"No one wants to hit a brick wall dad." Zane just shrugged, sometimes he didn't think he could argue with his son's insane logic.

And lawn flamingos to stand up, who the hell keeps kicking that damn thing over!? It was a wedding gift, play nice dammit!

"Mom! Dad's talking to himself again!"

"Just ignore him sweetie, daddy's gone and lost his mind since his birthday."

"Jarvis, how many times do i have to tell you not to listen to their trash talk? Ugh, hold on. Mom!"

"I know, your father's talking to himself."

"No, i wanted to ask if Jarvis can sleep over."

"Oh, yeah, sure."

"See, my parents don't mind me being your friend, come over, my mom's making egg rolls." She paused. "Oh, well what about next weekend? It's my brother's birthday but you can come, well okay, i'll see you at school tomorrow." Tamara didn't quite understand why Jarvis's mother was so against the boys going out since their father moved out, she knew Cora tried to explain what a divorce was to the best of her ability, but Tamara knew there was something the grown ups knew that they weren't telling her.

School traffic jam! From left to right: Michael in his swim suit, Jarvis behind the teen boy in green. The little girl dressed like a pirate is Corinne and the teen girl next to her who looks like a hipster met a goth kid and had a bastard baby together, is her older sister Danica. They're Suzanna and Derrick's oldest kids. The little one in blue with the hair bow behind them is Farrah, Katharine's daughter. And the extremely excited blonde over in the right hand corner who's a kind of evil looking vampire in red and black is Mary, Michelle's teen daughter.

While the children were at school, Cora ran a free clinic at the park for those without insurance, it was always busy.

Zane on the other hand, felt the need for yet another makeover, because the last one went so well -_-

He never seems impressed after them, or he could have just caught sight of the stylists terrifyingly thin ankles. Serious dude, boots are your friend.

Later that night, Cora taught Peanut how to drive in Kinsley old car, which the teen had painted purple.

Tamara busied herself by throwing sand in her hair.

Which resulted in a bath, she's a splasher.

Zane had busied himself down in the basement, nearly obsessed with figuring out the chemical compound his mother had known that brought Peanut to life. Yet somehow he felt like they were all forgetting something....

Oh yeah..... hold on young man, what does your shirt say!?... Oh, there's the N, okay, i didn't see it at first, carry on.

Chapter Notes:

Random chapter is random, but sometimes nothing really interesting happens, ya know. That's Noah grown up to a child, his randomized third trait is rebellious, which means he's gonna be fun as a teen ^^ Also i seriously don't know what's up with the stylist in the town, but i fricking love him, he's SO funny looking. I was gonna change him the first time i saw him but then was like, ya know what, no, he's epic in his eccentricities. Also, random fact, it was my mother's idea to paint the cop car to look like bricks. And yes, she actually is certifiably insane, no jokes. So i listened to her, cause she would understand Michael's reasoning better than I lol.

Random chapters are cool, too, shows what "everyday" life is like in your household!
