Chapter Thirty-One → I found a way to let you in but I never really had a doubt. Standing in the light of your halo, I got my angel now

Turned out that Jarvis gun was loaded the night of their birthdays, cause soon enough Tamara found out she was pregnant.

She was very impressed.

The weeks preceding the big move was plagued by many a mood swing, be it Noah's pouting, Tamara's pregnancy fits or Zane's depression as he mourned his eldest sister's death.

Tamara's pregnancy went as about to be expected, although that was no surprise considering her mother was a world renowned surgeon. And she was damn good at her job, no matter how many times Noah sang 'like a surgeon' at her.  "I swear to god Jarvis, if you ask me if i should be 'lifting' this plate i will hit you over the head with it."

"You know i don't mean to be a pain in the butt." Jarvis said one morning when he was caught painting in his boxers, all the greats started out like that, really. "I just don't want anything to happen." He admitted as he touched her growing middle.

"Like what? I'm not gonna fall down four flights of stairs and land on a pile of spikes and glass. We don't even have four flights of stairs, and dad never keeps his spikes at the bottom of them." She said with a playful smile.

"It's just...."

"What?"

Jarvis sighed. "What if they're green?"

Tamara gasped. "Oh my god, what if they're not!?" Okay so she was teasing him, but she understood his fear. He was raised by a bigot who hated nothing only herself and her sons, but everyone else as well.

"I'm serious, Tee."

"So am I." She wasn't.

"You're saying you want green children?"

Tamara made a show of thinking for a moment before relenting. "Nah, i already have a green husband to be. Think you could show me something in baby sized in a sky blue pink?"

"With purple polka dots?" Jarvis smirked, she always did that, made him feel completely normal even when he knew he wasn't.

"Exactly!" She exclaimed with a wide grin.

With a laugh he pulled in her into a hug. "You're insane you know that?"

"I caught it from Michael." Tamara smiled.

Eventually the day of the big move came, everyone piling into Cora's SUV since it was the biggest and they drove up town and into a still being built suburb up near the mountains about fifteen minutes just outside the town.

Their new house was big and still being built, but it was better than the small house in the ghetto they had just left. The inside was still being renovated, the floors weren't carpeted or tiled yet, the deck and pool were only half done and the landscaping guys were late putting in the koi pond, but it was home, for the time being at least.

They were barely in the house an hour, only the living room had been unpacked and Tamara went into labor, it was a surprising experience for everyone.

Hours later Tamara and Jarvis returned with two bundles of joy, Andrew, who obviously took after Zane's side of the family.

And Alaura, who was a slightly darker green color than Jarvis, thanks to Tamara's darker skin tone mixing with the green so flawlessly.

They were both thankful that the family had gotten the nursery ready before they returned with the infants, Tamara falling into bed exhausted, leaving the care of the infants to Jarvis. Which he did with no complaint, although he couldn't help but wish, just wish, that Alaura had been 'normal'.

Chapter Notes:

Short chapter i know, but the move was plagued by horrors so i didn't get many pictures. I will give a little 'tour' of the done house later on, it's finished now where i am in game, but it wasn't in here. I built it and actually ended up liking it a lot more than i thought i would, normally i'm not a 'house building' type. But yes, horrors. Lets see, everyone got into Cora's car and then stayed there, frozen, just idling in the car. I had to reset them all and delete the car, which in turned caused Zane's personal inventory to fuck up and i was unable to take anything out of it, never ended up being able to actually. Everything he had was unclickable, rawr! The game lagged while trying to set things from build mode, causing weird placements and moved the family graves to a family mausoleum on lot, it can be seen there in the back right hand corner of the house picture. Ghosts stayed around 24 hrs a day and refused to leave! But i digress, i shall lapse into my ghost glitch bitch when it actually happens in said chapter and not before hand. Until then, TTFN.

  1. I think it's cool that they got "one of each", quite literally!
